@randomblackrain Did you ever notice that while JJ was in MLS whatever McSoccer was the off-season whipping boy for who has sucked the longest in the supposed parity league suddenly had JJ shipped to them for a season and would make playoffs by the skin of their teeth to booted from playoffs?

I am so sick of hearing #mls fans run off at the mouth about how only mega clubs win titles in Open systems around the world. Germany has had 28 different clubs win titles. England 24. France 19. Brazil 17. Italy 16. #prorelforusa

@fan_global @OneManGang6 @Rdwngfn19 @NYCsportsPUNK USSF has only admitted to a minimum payment schedule obligated by SUM in recent court proceedings. Other details haven't been available to the public.

@OneManGang6 @Rdwngfn19 @NYCsportsPUNK I disagree that's what they're buying into. They're purchasing membership into SUM not MLS. SUM is wildly profitable distributing NT rights without so much as an open market bidding process to obtain them. They just have to operate a McSoccer for filler programming in return.

I live in a what would be considered a "rural" part of Florida and there are two different parks that have pick up matches of seven a side or greater every afternoon and a 3rd set of fields/pitches which has a community organized unsanctioned tournament almost every Sunday. https://t.co/nLqjyhYLcT

@jdslip12 @BrianCostin @ChristosFC @TheMiamiFC @fccincinnati And USSF had still not paid you for the Cup that finished in July as late as October of this year, correct? When did you finally receive that check in the mail, if you don't mind me asking?

@skidawgkc22 Sheffield is the oldest continually operating club still alive. Edinburgh Foot-Ball Club existed as early as 1821. The London Brewing Company has records of their hall being leased in the 15th century by "Footballers" which were recorded as Tradesmen or Fraternal organization.

@randomblackrain That was Jermaine Jones, right? Jermaine's MLS career can be described as the league's DPP (Designated Pity Player).

@BrianCostin @jstats @ChristosFC @TheMiamiFC @fccincinnati The way I try to relate it to people not as versed in soccer but American sports it's like the entire NCAA playing the four games in the NCAA tournament and then the ACC getting dumped in during the Sweet 16.

@BrianCostin @jstats @ChristosFC @TheMiamiFC @fccincinnati 1999 was the last time a non-MLS team has held the cup. And statistically the deck is stacked against them with only 8-10 non-MLS teams still in the competition when all the MLS sides are entered.

@OneManGang6 @KonradMadej1 @MyronThiessen Please don't come into this name calling, that serves no purpose. The facts can stand up for themselves. Name calling only creates animosity where education is needed.

@BrianCostin @jstats @ChristosFC @TheMiamiFC @fccincinnati No, at most they have to win five and that's the Cup winner from MLS who wins five. They enter in the round of 32 teams. 32>16>8>4>2

@jstats @BrianCostin @ChristosFC @TheMiamiFC @fccincinnati Yes, but even in England an EPL side has to win well more than four matches to lift the cup.

@BrianCostin @ChristosFC @TheMiamiFC @fccincinnati Oh, and Christo's check should have been in the mail A LOT earlier than it was from the USSF.

@BrianCostin @ChristosFC @TheMiamiFC @fccincinnati I personally feel more amateur teams should get into the proper rounds and the professional sides have to enter in earlier rounds of the tournament, if that's what you are angling at here.
